why so hard to find?
not shadowbox or whatever dont want to pay or have it load over the site, but embeded in the page.
Generally finds include:
Luke Lutmans - A flash embed plugin - for flash videos of any source changing regular links to flash embeds, does browser detection for you. only handles flash content.
JQuery Media Plugin
Replaces regular text links to swfs, movs etc with the proper embed code. looks neat. cant see a demo of how to make it a gallery though.
SWF Object
This is SWFObject which isnt jquery, it is a javascript helper thing that embed flash for you. Think this is the original way to embed flash keep this link for regular flash stuff.
Longtail video - JW Flash Player
A paid solution it looks like. Skinnable etc
Flowplayer - A paid option - probably good for a video content heavy site. Maybe look here for demos or something...

another jquery media embedder
An actual example of a gallery plugin at work horray horray horray. This is probably what i need. but the problem is that it makes you write the code for each individual file to embed - it should mash up with the jquery media plaugin somehow so the links are easier to write.
